Albert and Debby Ledet have been married since 2009 and are the parents of three wonderful children.  

Albert grew up in a Marine family, and military assignments moved them to different locations. His travels helped him learn to love people and make friends easily. When the United States was attacked September 11, 2001, Albert joined the Marines to serve his country. He also attended North Carolina State and studied acting in New York. All of these influences helped prepare him for being a Pastor.

Albert felt a call to serve God in ministry since he was a child. He tried to run from it and do other things, but God kept wooing him. Several times in church services, pastors and spiritual leaders spoke words to confirm this calling. 

Debby is a Pastor’s daughter, growing up in the church her parents started in 1979. Her daddy, Pastor Rene Monette founded Living Word Church and pastored it for 39 years before retiring to New Braunfels, Texas. As a pastor’s daughter, Debby learned to serve in many areas of ministry. She attended International Bible College in San Antonio, TX. When she returned home, she became a valuable and trusted employee of LWC, helping her parents do ministry for several years.

Debby is also a professional photographer. Her company is Hillscreativeco.com. She is known for her innovative Style Shoots for photographers. 

Albert and Debby met when Albert visited Living Word Church in 2008. Albert’s grandparents were one of the five founding families of LWC. Albert and Debby dated, married, and they both worked in ministry at LWC for a few years.

In 2016 they moved to New Braunfels, Texas and began working for Pastor Robin Steele at Promiseland San Marcos Church. They served in Youth Ministry, Production, Social Media Management, and other ministry areas as needed.

God has put Albert and Debby together to serve as Pastors of Church on a Journey. They invite you to join them as we do this earthly Journey together.
